What if you need to use an existing carbon microphone (say a vintage piece from a prototype dispatchers' office) and you want to use our Dispatcher/Operator board or other modern amplifier?  You'd need to provide a power supply and a way to provide a "dry" (no DC) output.  A volume control would be nice, too!

Our Carbon Microphone adapter takes a filtered 12 or 24 supply and powers a carbon mic such as an F1 or T1 transmitter (lots of them are out there) and provides a balanced AC output at 600 ohms, with a volume adjustment (no amplification, just adjusts your line level).

Power connection is a 2.1 x 5 mm barrel jack or screw terminals. 

Output is on a 3.5 mm TRS jack or screw terminals

The mic connections are via 3.5mm screw terminals.
