8 line tortoise adapter (4 tortii) for Tortoise by Circuitron) plugs onto a classic DOUT or SMINI CMRI output card.  Each line is pulled up through a 680 ohm resistor, 12V power is applied through 3.5mm screw terminals and the tortoise is controlled by grounding one or the other line through the DOUT.  See Dr. Chubb's CMRI 2012 Applications Handbook Volume 1- System Extensions Chapter 7 pages 7-8 through 7-11.  Dr. Chubb's books are available at https://www.jlcenterprises.net/

These may be mixed and matched with our line of 8 line CMRI adapters.

Input is via female Molex 0.156 connectors, output pads are provided for 0.156 Molex and 3.5mm screw terminals, your choice.

This board is quite expensive Assembled and Tested item due to the labor involved in installing the many resistors, so it is a great "Do it Yourself" project as the parts cost is well South of $5.  We offer the board bare (panel of 6) and Assembled & Tested.  .5" Resistor spacing allows for traditional 1/2 W carbon film resistors, although the newer ones you buy today fit in the .4" footprint commonly associated with 1/4W resistors.
